Klutina River

Im out of Shape and I hiked Way too Much

This was way too Long a hike. Awesome to put my feet in the freezing Klutina River. It merges with the Copper River about 3 miles down. You can catch the copper river reds in this river. Had to stop alot, but had a great time doin it. Very steep. My legs are gonna be rubber tomorrow. That is a Alaskan White beer I am celebrating with. Im gonna kill Tom and Steve if I cant walk tomorrow. We saw Elk poop on the trail.This was the point of the Klutina River we Hiked to.

Went to Portage Glacier and a Wildlife Refuge. Both Very Cool.

Day one- The flight in and the stay at the Millinium

I have to say flying in to all those snow capped mountains and seeing glaciers at 30,00ft was awesome.It did make me think of that fine film with Ethan Hawke, "alive". MMMMMM Human Jerky. Got in at 9 and sun wasnt thinkin of goin down yet. These were taken  from my sony, not my Nikon, I just had to document the first thing I saw off the plane and my first beer.
