Porcupines and 8 days of work left. Lookin forward to Dad and sister visit.

I'm writing this as I'm looking for a job. This is way too depressing. I'd rather write about the present instead of worrying about the future.

Ok Now to the fun.

Ben: "Wanna go on a hike, I haven't got a pic of a porcupine yet?"
Me: " Ok. I'm not doing anything, let me grab my camera."

Fast forward 25 min.

Me: "Ben, look over there, a fucking porcupine walking the road."

I kid you not, why cant he wish a bear appear.
I still don't believe they shoot their quills.10 ft away, nothin.
I love it here, but i can't wait to get back home. I miss Gingersnap and my truck. Oh, and everything else on a lesser level.

I have made so many great friends. I have learned this summer I am a smart ass with a dirty sense of humor. I was unaware.

Dad and Nancy arrived in Alaska today. Staying in the best hotel in the state, the Alyeska. They will be here monday. 

I have a bunch of alone time(which I sorta hate) so i Have been wandering taking pics. The main thing I think I am going to miss is the sound of the Klutina river. You have to experience that river to know the love I have for it. Here are some my wander pics.

The journey may be enjoyable, but good-byes still suck. 13 Days Left.

Winding down the season here and only 13 days left, and only 10 of those Ill be working. Got bad news Sunday that Kendra was leaving on Monday, and I already knew Joanna was leaving on Wednesday. These two girls rocked. Both would almost always be willing to hang, head to the river, or usually get me off my ass. Kendra took off Monday Morning before any of us got a chance to say goodbye. Joanna had 3 days of fun and goodbyes. I could explain it all, but pictures tell it so much better.
